Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy implementations
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Design disaster recovery solutions with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell/Ansible
- Monitor system performance using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Coordinate vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance and government IT standards
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification required
- Ability to work on-call rotation (1 week/month)
