Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Lead security hardening initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and compliance with SOC2/ISO27001 standards
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible/Terraform and optimize CI/CD workflows
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents and coordinate disaster recovery drills
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration
- Monitor performance metrics using ELK stack and Splunk to proactively address bottlenecks
- Document architecture blueprints and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash and infrastructure-as-code tools
- CI/CD pipeline implementation with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
- Active certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure AZ-800)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container security best practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using Wireshark/tcpdump
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
