Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation activities
- Analyze malware and attack patterns using forensic tools
- Implement security controls and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security architecture
- Generate executive security reports and risk assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
