Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and troubleshoot complex network solutions, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Automate administrative tasks and deployment pipelines using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system outages and hardware failures.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance and application deployment.
- Ensure data backup integrity and execute disaster recovery planning exercises.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration or IT Support.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud services and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCE, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
