Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure (Windows/Linux, virtualization, cloud)
- Ensure 99.9% uptime through proactive monitoring, patching, and disaster recovery planning
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Document systems, processes, and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure services and hybrid cloud architecture
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Ability to work flexible hours on-call rotation for critical incidents
