Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using Nagios, Datadog, and Splunk tools
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with cloud platform expertise
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- AWS/Azure certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
