Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and hybrid cloud environments
- Implement enterprise-level security protocols, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery solutions
- Proactively troubleshoot complex system issues and provide Tier-3 support for critical business applications
- Automate deployment and maintenance processes using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Document system configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in VMware vSphere, Azure, and AWS cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools
- CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred
- Proven ability to manage multi-site infrastructure and SLA-driven environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
