Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and implement security protocols to prevent breaches
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including S3, EC2, and VPC configurations
- Oversee backup/DR solutions using Veeam and enterprise storage systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document IT processes and provide technical training to junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
