Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructures
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ endpoints
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backup/restoration procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines using Ansible/Terraform
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex infrastructure issues and security incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid networking models
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex multi-layered issues
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
