Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services for 500+ users
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive maintenance strategies
- Oversee cloud environments including AWS/Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to streamline operations
- Ensure security compliance through regular audits and vulnerability assessments
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted in lieu)
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills with proficiency in shell scripting
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
