Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop zero-trust security architectures and access control policies
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong analytical skills with security event correlation
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
