Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premise and cloud platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN systems ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance audits
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior team members on complex infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Document systems architecture and create disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise networking
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+ (or equivalent experience)
- Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell and/or Python
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Proven track record in implementing security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
