Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level infrastructure including cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent outages
- Execute disaster recovery plans and security protocols ensuring 99.9% uptime SLA
- Automate workflows using Python/Ansible to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and directory services (Active Directory)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Document procedures and maintain system architecture diagrams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices
