Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery plans
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and orchestrate containerized applications
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Document system architectures and maintain configuration management best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- AWS/Azure certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps, Azure Administrator)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP preferred)
