Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions across AWS/Azure on-premises environments
- Automate deployment and maintenance using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response for critical systems
- Optimize performance monitoring with Nagios, Datadog, and Splunk
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior administrators and document best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Proven experience in high-availability enterprise environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
