Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and VMware virtualization environments
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and switches
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct regular security audits
- Automate deployment and maintenance tasks using PowerShell and Ansible
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and create procedural guides
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Proven experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP) highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
