Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize resource utilization
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Python and manage Active Directory environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and vendor management
- Document system configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), and virtualization
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls) and security best practices
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages
- AWS/Azure certification or equivalent cloud platform experience required
