Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure including servers, storage, and cloud environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ users
- Implement cybersecurity measures including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for operational efficiency
- Document system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
