Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Implement and manage network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health using Nagios/Zabbix and resolve critical incidents within SLAs
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular security audits
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with 24/7 on-call rotation experience
