Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Execute disaster recovery procedures and conduct regular security audits
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and manage containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes
- Collaborate with network engineers to optimize infrastructure scalability and performance
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Provide Tier-3 support resolution for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
