Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical incidents, and automate deployment processes
- Manage backup/recovery solutions and ensure 99.9% uptime across all infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Implement cybersecurity best practices including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Document SOPs and create technical knowledge base for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux
- Expert-level proficiency in virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud technologies
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or AWS SysOps Administrator required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python/Bash) for automation
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios) and ticketing systems (Jira)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
