Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Manage network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance
- Oversee backup/DR solutions and ensure 99.9% uptime SLA compliance
- Lead virtualization projects using VMware or Hyper-V technologies
- Document IT processes and create comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
