Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Automate deployment and management using Ansible, Terraform, and Docker
- Implement robust security protocols, patch management, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Document systems, processes, and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level infrastructure
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Windows Server, and virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Certifications (AWS/Azure, CCNA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
