Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection
- Oversee network infrastructure including Cisco routers/switches, VPNs, and wireless systems
- Provide Level 3 technical support and lead disaster recovery/business continuity initiatives
- Automate system monitoring and maintenance using PowerShell/Ansible/SolarWinds
- Document IT processes and create knowledge base articles for team scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications in CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Proven experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
