Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments with Active Directory and VMware
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with Terraform automation
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly DR tests
- Manage security protocols including vulnerability scanning and compliance audits
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
- Document SOPs and create automation scripts using PowerShell/Python
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud experience
- Expert-level certifications (AWS/Azure, CCNP, or CompTIA Server+)
- Advanced knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and security best practices
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages
- Experience with monitoring solutions (Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog)
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis expertise
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
