Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure (Linux/Windows)
- Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Oversee network security protocols and vulnerability management
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/PowerShell
- Provide Tier-3 support and lead disaster recovery initiatives
- Optimize system performance and implement scalability solutions
- Document infrastructure configurations and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS/Azure) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog)
- Proven problem-solving skills with complex infrastructure issues
