Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments, including patching, updates, and performance tuning.
- Design, deploy, and manage secure network infrastructure using firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and workflows using Python, Bash scripting, and Ansible.
- Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and maintain cloud resources on AWS and Azure, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Enforce data security protocols and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration and Windows Server management.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCE, CCNP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
