Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and identity access management
- Lead system migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning initiatives
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex infrastructure incidents with SLA adherence
- Document all procedures, configurations, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+ or equivalent preferred
- Proven scripting skills in Python or PowerShell
- Experience with ITIL processes and service management tools
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
