Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server environments (Windows/Linux)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical incidents
- Develop automation scripts for deployment and configuration management
- Ensure robust security protocols and compliance with SOX/HIPAA standards
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Document system architectures and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux expertise
- Advanced certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, RHCE, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
