Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure including virtualization and cloud environments
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services across 500+ endpoints
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores quarterly
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
- Document all system configurations and create operational runbooks for team knowledge base
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
