Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and implement security protocols
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup systems
- Document IT processes, create runbooks, and maintain system documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and company policies
- Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expert knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios) and enterprise backup solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
