Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Proactively troubleshoot system issues and implement preventative maintenance strategies
- Oversee backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on automation using Ansible and Terraform
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
- Mentor junior staff and provide escalation support
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux expertise
- Strong background in AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid networking
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent required
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Excellent problem-solving skills with SLA-driven mindset
