Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and proactive maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across network infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
- Mentor junior IT staff and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server 2016+
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP management
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
