Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with IaC tools like Terraform
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Perform proactive system monitoring, patching, and capacity planning
- Lead disaster recovery drills and business continuity initiatives
- Document SOPs and provide Tier-3 technical support to internal teams
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline automation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux expertise
- AWS/Azure certification (or equivalent cloud platform experience)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for critical maintenance windows
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Active Security+ or equivalent security certification
