Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments including virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime SLA compliance
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/PowerShell scripting
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet) and scripting languages
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
