Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex on-premise and cloud-based systems including AWS and Azure environments
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and incident response
- Automate infrastructure workflows using Python, Ansible, and Terraform for efficiency gains
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical systems with 99.9% uptime SLA adherence
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly failover testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Document system architecture, processes, and runbooks with precision
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expert-level certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator)
- Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
