Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS)
- Oversee Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, networking, and security configurations
- Implement and monitor backup/recovery solutions with Veeam and Azure Site Recovery
- Handle Active Directory administration, group policies, and user lifecycle management
- Deploy and manage enterprise-level security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls)
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Ansible
- Provide Tier 3 support and lead incident resolution for critical systems
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain compliance with NIST standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration
- Strong Azure cloud infrastructure management skills
- Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Proven experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and containerization
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash)
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
