Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments
- Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
- Perform system patching, vulnerability assessments, and compliance auditing
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans with RTO/RPO metrics
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents and outages
- Document infrastructure configurations and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP management
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere) and containerization technologies
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps Administrator, or equivalent
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
