Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure in AWS and on-premise environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible
- Manage network security protocols including firewalls (Palo Alto), VPNs (FortiGate), and IDS/IPS systems
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support with incident response and root cause analysis
- Automate system monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Mentor junior administrators and document SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda) and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet)
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent experience
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with proven incident management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
