Responsibilities
- Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Document procedures, create runbooks, and conduct system audits
- Support end-users with technical escalations and training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash) and infrastructure automation
- Strong knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and virtualization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
