Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical business data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate cloud services (AWS/Azure) into our existing architecture.
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like Nagios or Datadog, proactively resolving issues before they impact users.
- Enforce IT security policies and conduct regular security audits to comply with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux distributions.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
