Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and secure on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server).
- Design, implement, and monitor automated deployment pipelines for improved efficiency.
- Oversee network architecture, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery protocols are in place.
- Conduct regular system audits, security assessments, and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentorship to junior system administrators and IT staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software solutions and hardware upgrades.
- Document all technical processes, configurations, and incident reports to maintain detailed system knowledge bases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Strong proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance.
