Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize resource utilization
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services across hybrid environments
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and compliance frameworks (SOC2/ISO)
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
- Document systems architecture and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux
- Expertise in AWS/Azure and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
