Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting
- Monitor system performance using SolarWinds and Nagios tools
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of system administration in enterprise environments
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools and ITIL best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours during maintenance windows
