Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery plans
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline support
- Document procedures and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud services and virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
