Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site/Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premise servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols and data backup solutions.
- Automate administrative tasks and workflows using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network and hardware issues across global offices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource allocation.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior system administrators and IT support staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and virtualization technologies.
- Proven expertise in scripting languages for automation and system management.
- Valid certifications such as RHCE, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
