Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtual infrastructure
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) including resource allocation, security groups, and cost optimization
- Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and DNS configurations
- Execute system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell/Python for operational efficiency
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure with hands-on experience in EC2, S3, and Active Directory
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Proven track record in managing hybrid IT infrastructures
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and documentation practices
