Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain on-premise servers and cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Network Security: Monitor network traffic, implement security protocols, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect company assets.
- System Administration: Oversee user account management, Active Directory, and patch management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues across the organization with minimal downtime.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute robust disaster recovery plans and data backup strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation for all systems and processes.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors to manage service contracts and technical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network hardware configuration.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical staff.
