Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Execute disaster recovery procedures and backup/restore operations
- Document IT policies, procedures, and system architectures
- Collaborate on security hardening and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+, or MCSA/MCSE preferred)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) and automation tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network and system issues
