Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and compliance frameworks
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Design, deploy, and automate infrastructure solutions using Ansible/Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives
- Document procedures and conduct regular system audits for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Windows/Linux environments
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified SysOps Admin)
- Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in incident management
